๐ŸŒŸ Dr. Avinash Chouhan ๐ŸŒŸ earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology – Indian School of Mines (IIT-ISM) Dhanbad, India (2016-2022). He completed his M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics at IIT Bombay, Mumbai (2011-2013), and his B.Sc. in Physics (Hons.) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi (2007-2011) ๐ŸŽ“. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the “Lithospheric structure and geodynamic evolution of the Cambay rift and adjoining regions, NW India: Insights from gravity data” ๐Ÿ“Š, supervised by Dr. S.K. Pal and Dr. Pallabee Choudhury. His M.Sc. dissertation, “Geophysical Interpretation of the Mannar Basin” ๐ŸŒ, was supervised by Dr. M. Radhakrishna.

Dr. Avinash Chouhan, a Scientific Officer in the Planning and Development Department, Patna, Bihar since 2021, plays a crucial role in establishing seismic and meteorological telemetry networks ๐Ÿ“ก in Bihar. His work includes seismic monitoring and studying crustal architecture over the Indo-Gangetic plain ๐ŸŒ.
