He currently serves as Professor of Medicine at the University of Genoa School of Medicine and as a senior consultant specializing in interstitial lung disease and pulmonary hypertension, where he has held key academic, clinical, and leadership roles, contributing to patient-centered care, postgraduate medical education, and institutional development.
