Mr. Guy Trudon Muya | Thermodynamic Engineering | Best Researcher Award
University of Gabes | Tunisia
Mr. Guy Trudon Muya is a PhD scholar at the National Engineering School of GabΓ¨s, University of Gabes, advancing research in mechanical engineering with a specialization in energy mechanics and applied thermodynamics. Building on a strong foundation in electromechanics and applied mechanics, his research centers on thermo-economic modeling, thermodynamic assessment, and multi-criteria optimization of advanced energy systems, particularly the integration of the Kalina cycle within multigeneration technologies. He has contributed to three research projects and published in reputable outlets, including the Fuels journal, with his work gaining visibility through indexed citation platforms. His scientific interests encompass detailed thermodynamic analysis of systems powered by low- and medium-temperature heat sources, evaluation of exergy destruction across system components, and performance enhancement strategies for hybrid configurations. His recent contributions include a comprehensive thermodynamic and exergy-based investigation on combined electricity and green hydrogen production, analyzing the effects of geothermal temperature, operating pressures, ammoniaβwater concentration ratios, and key heat-exchange parameters. This study enabled the identification of an optimized multigeneration system with improved exergy efficiency and enhanced hydrogen output. He is associated with the Laboratory of Applied Thermodynamics, where he collaborates on advanced modeling and optimization approaches for next-generation energy solutions. His research demonstrates a commitment to innovation in sustainable energy systems, with a focus on improving efficiency, minimizing exergy losses, and supporting the development of environmentally responsible technologies. Through his scholarly work and ongoing doctoral research, he continues to contribute valuable insights to the field of thermodynamic system integration and green energy production.
