Dr. Gaurav Shrimali is an Assistant Professor at Smt. S.S. Patel Nootan Science and Commerce College, Visnagar, where he has been teaching since 2022. Dr. Shrimali holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Ganpat University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. Dr. Gaurav Shrimali is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Applied Science, Parul University, which he began in 2019. He earned his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology from Mehsana Urban Bank Institute of Bioscience, Ganpat University, in 2009, graduating with second-class honors. Dr. Shrimali completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biotechnology in 2007 from Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal Sanchalit Science College, Visnagar, where he achieved first-class honors. His foundational education also includes high academic achievements in his Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) and Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) from Shree S. V. Shah Vidyalaya and Shree Sarvajanic Vidyalaya, Mehsana, where he earned distinctions in 2003 and 2005, respectively.

Dr. Gaurav Shrimali brings a rich blend of industrial, research, and teaching experience to his academic career. He began his professional journey with a 7-month stint as a trainee production officer at Novartis Vaccine in Ankleshwar, where he worked in the Virus Production Department, focusing on animal tissue culture for virus harvesting in vaccine production. Dr. Shrimali also gained valuable research experience as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the RGNF program at the Department of Life Sciences, HNGU, Patan, for over two years. In addition to his industrial and research roles, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Smt. S.S. Patel Nootan Science and Commerce College, Visnagar, since 2022, contributing over 9 years of teaching expertise in the field of Biotechnology. His academic journey includes involvement in curriculum development, examination coordination, and administrative roles, further enriching his comprehensive experience.
