Assist. Prof. Dr. Salar Salah Muhy Al-Din is a distinguished academic and researcher in architecture and sustainable design, currently serving in the Faculty of Design at Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design, Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus. He holds a B.Eng. in Civil and Surveying Engineering from the University of Baghdad, an M.Sc. in Sustainable Architecture from Bharaty Vidyapeeth University, India, and a Ph.D. in Architecture from Girne American University, North Cyprus. His research focuses on sustainable and climate-responsive architectural design, indoor thermal comfort, and the integration of smart and salutogenic design principles in buildings. He has contributed extensively through teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising Master’s theses on energy optimization, healthcare architecture, and project management, and publishing in top-tier international journals on thermal comfort, sustainable building materials, and smart design policies. Assist.
