Anne Omwoyo is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Dryland Resource Management at the University of Nairobi since October 18, 2021. Prior to this, she obtained a Master of Science Degree in Climate Change from the University of Nairobi, spanning from September 1, 2015, to September 22, 2017. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies – Science from the University of Eldoret, where she graduated on December 3, 2013. 📚 Throughout her education, Anne has shown a keen interest in environmental studies, climate change, and now focuses on the management of dryland resources.

HONOURS AND AWARDS

🎓 Ms. Anne Omwoyo, Director of the System for Land-based Emission Estimation in Kenya (SLEEK), received the Clinton Foundation Scholarship on June 29, 2015. This scholarship enabled her to pursue a Master of Science in Climate Change from the University of Nairobi. Later, she was granted a fellowship in the Policy Track under the NDC-FFP 2020/2021 category for Certified Expert in Financing Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and the African Research & Impact Network on September 24, 2020. 🌍📚

Ms. Anne Omwoyo 🌍 has been serving as a National Roster Expert for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 🌱 since December 13, 2022.
