Cynthia Andraos obtained her Ph.D. in Hydrology with distinction in April 2021 from Saint Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon. Prior to this, she completed her Masters M2 in Water Sciences in July 2016, also at Saint Joseph University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution (2015). Her education laid a strong foundation for her work in water engineering and hydrology. Additionally, she earned the Lebanese Baccalaureate in General Sciences with distinction in 2010.

With over 7 years of professional experience, Cynthia Andraos has worked as a Consultant on Water Engineering since September 2022, specializing in water resource management, hydrology, and the design of clean water supply systems, stormwater drainage, and wastewater disposal. She is also an Assistant Professor at Saint Joseph University in the Faculty of Engineering, teaching courses related to water and environmental engineering. Previously, she served as a Water Infrastructure Engineer at Dar Al-Handasah Shair and Partners from 2015 to 2022, where she was involved in high-profile projects in Qatar, Lebanon, and Jordan, including the design of stormwater drainage systems, sewerage networks, and water transmission pipelines.
