She completed her Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics at the Cracow University of Technology in 2007, and prior to that, she earned a Master of Engineering degree in Geodesy and Cartography from the Agricultural University of Kraków in 2005. Additionally, Dr. Kochanek pursued pedagogical studies at the Cracow University of Technology from 2002 to 2003, where she received a certificate of pedagogical preparation in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of National Education and Schooling.

She currently serves as a lecturer at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, a role she has held since 2014.
