Dr. Fikreyesus Demeke Cherkos has been deeply involved in various impactful projects during his tenure at Adama Science and Technology University from October 2015 to June 2017 🏫. As a Lecturer, he led the design, construction, and supervision of surface treatments for the Tulu Bolo Road and rigid pavement sections for the Adama-Mathera road project 🚧. He also collaborated with JICA on landslide mitigation at the Abay Bridge and administered contracts for landslide investigations and capacity development programs in Ethiopia’s Federal Road projects 🌍. In addition to teaching diverse construction management and technology courses 📚, he managed the Construction Management and Technology Program as the department head 🎓.
